Founder & CEO

Samuel Adeoti is a compassionate entrepreneur, philanthropist, and mathematician whose unwavering dedication to giving back has earned him the reputation as a community leader across the world. Since the brink of his career, he has been avidly involved in an array of charity ventures. However, his passion for helping others stemmed from the poor living conditions he endured as a child, walking over eight kilometres each day to gather safe drinking water. His first-hand experiences enable him not only to deeply empathize, but  drive him to work to completely transform the poverty-stricken lives of thousands.

Currently, Samuel serves as the Founder and CEO of Fairaction International, where he is on a mission to provide access to clean drinking water for suffering communities in Nigeria and beyond.

Samuel Adeoti holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Mathematics and Industrial Mathematics from Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria and a Master of Science degree in Mathematical and Statistical Modelling from the University of Technology, Sydney

Sam El Shammaa is a highly accomplished Finance Professional with extensive experience in Financial Planning and business leadership. Sam’s extensive experience and knowledge places him in a valuable position to provide financial and business advice to charitable organisations. Sam has empathy and compassion for people who are less fortunate than him. As a child and young adult Sam lived in the United Kingdom, USA, United Arab Emirates and Egypt. This international experience has provided Sam with a rich understanding of people from a variety of cultures and wealth. He has seen how poor education and food security can have a devastating impact on the underprivileged. At this time in his life Sam is offering his time, experience and knowledge to assist organisations aimed at helping people in need.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Business Administration and International Business from the University of Evansville, USA. Sam has completed a Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. Sam has achieved, maintains and manages a Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). His current position as Business Director with 4 financial planners working under his license demonstrates his ability to work cohesively in a team. He also provides mentorship to less experienced planners and offers internships to undergraduate students. This passion for helping others to achieve their best together with extensive professional networks makes Sam an asset to any charitable oragnisation.

A world-travelled, service-centered woman, she has been a constant first-hand witness of the positive ripple effect charities can make, especially for those in need.Transitioning into a humanity-driven vocation came second nature to Bobbie, ultimately leading her to becoming a Director, and Board Member at Fairaction International, where she is infinitely committed to supporting the disadvantaged. Above all, she has been there since day one, contributing her time and resources in the forging of Fairaction International

He walks the walk and works hard to make his dreams the new reality through achieving “Mission 2020”, clean water for all. Rez is a system engineer and an innovator. He loves a meaningful conversation and improving the lives of children everywhere.

Pooja is a lawyer qualified to practise in Australia and India. Pooja’s experience includes working on large private M&A deals, fund establishment (including private equity funds, hedge funds and property funds), transactional and regulatory funds work. She is a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Core competencies include lateral and strategic thinking, sound analytical and problem-solving skills, results oriented and strong leadership and team building skills. Having grown up in India and spent 25 years there, she has seen: • lack of access to clean water, lack of electricity, lack of access to education and health, plague those that live in remote/rural areas and urban slums; and • other disadvantages and social injustices meted out as a result of gender and background. This, amongst other reasons, is why Pooja shares Fairaction International’s vision – a fair world, where everyone has the opportunity to achieve his/her full potential regardless of background, gender or disabilities. As a Board Member, Pooja is keen to apply her skills and core competencies by providing hands-on engagement in Fairaction International’s governance and projects and thereby help Fairaction International achieve its objectives. Outside of law, Pooja is driven by opportunities to work for organisations whose objective is to positively influence and impact the lives of others.

Rahul is a medical doctor training to specialise in women’s health. He is passionate about global health and evidence based charity, and hopes to contribute in these areas throughout his career. Starting out with an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Rahul had a wide range of volunteer experiences before his career in medicine. With background experience as a not-for-profit board member, he contributes to Fairaction International as a Director, and aims to continue to use his medical knowledge to help propel the organisation to greater things. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Art majoring in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery, both from the University of Sydney.

Ben is Co-Founder of The Pricing Project, whose mission is to expand the use of technology in consumer markets and provide new ways for customers to access value, specific to their needs. Prior to the establishment of this business, Ben made a significant contribution over a period of 5 years in several leadership roles as Senior Corporate Counsel for Caltex Australia, most recently in the retail, pricing and corporate strategy fields. His expertise in these areas includes delivering high-stakes commercial outcomes, developing regulatory compliance programs, M&A, securing merger clearance and strategy development. Ben’s business skills extend far beyond his core legal experience gained over 10 years with leading law firms in Sydney and London. As a lawyer, Ben worked closely with leading organisations in Australia and Europe, in particular in the property development and real estate investment industry. Ben intends to employ his skills and he learnings from his business experience in his role as Director of Organisational Development at Fairaction International, with a view to enabling the organisation to more effectively perform its role and achieve its vision.
